Industry Advisor Germany Ajay has several years of extensive hands on experience in developing and managing businesses in cleantech space. During his 20 years of professional experience, including 14 years in leadership roles, Ajay developed and managed several international investments in cleantech sector for multinationals like GE, UTC, ITT and Q-Cells, conducted feasibility studies and sector evaluations for private equity as well as for institutional investors. As CFO at GE Winds Ajay was part of the team that led establishment of GE Wind Energy from a medium size, loss making acquisition (close to USD 500 million acquisition) to a profit making and cash generating global organization with over € 8 billion in market capitalization. In this process, Ajay and his investment team were responsible for buying & building of many renewable energy assets (wind and solar projects) across Europe and Asia including setting up of large scale wind operations in China & India to serve Asian markets. Ajay is a MBA from SIU FL USA and Heidelberg Germany and has a Bachelor’s degree in applied mathematics from University of Delhi, India. He is fluent in English, German & Hindi. Ajay has strong industrial competence in Energy, excellent operational expertise and regional coverage in Germany and India. In this capacity, he is assisting Icos Capital build its business activities in Germany and also helping portfolio companies secure market penetration in India. |
